CPA Acquire

About

The confidential acquisition directory for accounting practices

We built CPA Acquire to give accounting practice owners and buyers a serious, trustworthy place to connect — without the noise, the broker markup, or the loss of confidentiality.

Why we exist

Selling or acquiring an accounting practice is one of the most consequential decisions an owner or firm will make. Yet the market is fragmented, opaque, and often dominated by intermediaries whose incentives don't always align with the parties. CPA Acquire takes a different approach: a clean, confidential directory where owners list practices and qualified buyers browse, save, and request access — directly.

What CPA Acquire is

CPA Acquire is a listing directory only. We provide the place to list and discover practices, with confidentiality built in. We do not broker transactions, represent either party, negotiate, value practices, hold funds, or facilitate closings. Those steps belong with the buyers, sellers, and their own attorneys, CPAs, and advisors.

Built for confidentiality

Public listings are blind by design. Seller identities, firm names, addresses, and any client information are never shown publicly. Sellers decide which buyers may see confidential details by approving access requests themselves.

Compliance-aware, not compliance-managing

We recognize that CPA ownership, attest, independence, client-consent, firm-name, and state board of accountancy rules can apply depending on the practice and state. CPA Acquire does not give legal, tax, CPA, regulatory, or valuation advice, and does not manage professional compliance. We encourage every buyer and seller to consult their own advisors.

CPA Acquire is a listing directory only

CPA Acquire is a listing directory only. We do not broker, negotiate, value, advise on, escrow, or close any transaction. Buyers and sellers handle diligence, compliance, documents, and closing independently.
